Default Happy Days!!

Hi All,

Happy to report i took delivery of my new beamer yesterday. The car is amazing!!! I'm still learning about some of the crazy features incuding auto high-beams that i tested last night on a country road. They work perfectly!! Talk about lazy driving. hehe

Anyway, i'm sad to say the GT-P is gone. I cant believe after 3 months of advertising and putting a post on FF's, i didnt receive one single call. Not even a tire kicker.

Anyway, have a great xmas all and drive safely. Don't forget to watch out for all the other bogans (holden drivers) especially.

Take care,
Chris
PS how do i load a pic?

you need to click on 'post reply' and then scroll down to 'manage attachments' then just upload a picture from your PC. it needs to be the right size in kb's and pixs though, and im not sure what that size it becuase it dont say.

anyway, good luck with the BM. my dads mate just got his brand new series 3. 100km in 4 seconds, wow. makes my EA seem rather slow lol.

As far as i know there isn't a 3 series that is that quick straight from the show room...

Cool : Definately one of the best turbo engines around. 400NM from ONLY 1300rpm! That thing must really shoot off the line

i didnt think many would beleive me, but put it this way, its twin turbo. now i dont know if you can get them like this from the factory, but it does have two turbos under the bonnet.
BTW, there was a little sarcasim about my EA.

It's just ridiculous. Takes off like lightning compared to the GTP with the 4 speed auto. So much torque and so much less weight to carry.

GTPChris,
Do you live not far from Chermside? and had an Envi GTP on a somewhat major rat run for a while?
If so, i drove past that GTP every day on my way to work, and thought to myself, i wish i could afford it
Anyway, good luck with the Beamer, I will keep an eye out for it.... (Thats a few streets away!)
Cheers
Marty

There's already a shortage of the new 3ltr twin turbo, so no more are coming to Australia until March next year. The M3 is due to be released mid next year i believe. There is a clip of the prototype being tested in the states on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sB1NnlBL_pQ
