hey i just recently brought a 1991 ford laser 1.6L auto and im just wondering wat are some good mods to get more power under 1 grand 2 do...

Nothing mate. Good reasons for this too.
Your auto gearbox is extremely weak, any somewhat decent amount of power will snap it. Other reason is $1k will get you about 5kW of power.. Which is about a strong breeze of extra power. Your auto Laser is a cruiser, not a beast. If you're after some power you need to buy another car or chuck at least $5k into it or it's just not worth it.
