Default Detomaso Pantera

Does anyone know of reproduction/replica Detomaso Panteras being made in Australia and their contact details? My friend is looking to get one and has been told a company maybe in Queensland is reproducing them?

Thanks
Mac

Given the cost of a GT40 replica to build, and the build costs would be extremely similar, and the cost of a real Pantera, you'd just buy the real thing.

I agree with Dr Gonzo, I wouldn't have thought Panteras were rare or expensive enough to do replicas

Rubbish....how much does it cost t get a kit from DRB (I think thats them)? 100-200k?

Have fun finding a real GT40 for that price.

the kit for a pantera he means i think..
im led to believe they run around 80gz?? for a REAL pantera.

and Ford America are charging $150gz US for a BRAND NEW GT40

DRB charge all different amounts for all different kits for the GT40..(different amounts of equipment supplied and different stage of build..)

the cheapest one is $20gz for a chassis and body.. and thats all..
the expensive one is $190gz for a turn key model with a windsor v8 and aftermarket ECU etc etc... a build it ur self kit.. with everything required just in 100000 pieces.. is around $60-$70gz(i just got a return email from them hence why i know the $ values)

i want one!!

I was talking about the Pantera replica.... its cost (based on what a DRB/Roaring 40's costs to build) would be close to the cost of a real detomaso.... and the real one would be steel
