Default Ford Employee Discount

I have the option to use the Ford Employee Discount scheme to get a car but I have a few questions.

It the discount off the RRP of the vehicle or off the dealer price? I read somewhere that the discount is paid to the dealers as a rebate to you can bargin down and then apply the discount. Then other people that say its off the RRP and no haggeling is allowed.

I am after people experiences when using this discount.

It is of RRP and plus $2000, you can't haggle prices from dealer to dealer.

The car and all factory fitted options are fixed price, not always the case with dealer fitted options. You will need to get the appropriate form signed and approved from HR. Buying fixed price is a whole different experience. If you're offering a trade-in then that's where some haggling my come in otherwise it's quite a pleasant experience as you know exactly what you're up for and the salesman knows you're a serious buyer. Enjoy the shopping.
