Exclamation Ford heiress arrested for driving while intoxicated in Michigan

Ford heiress arrested for driving while intoxicated in Michigan

By staff writers From: NewsCore April 05, 2011 10:51AM

A FORD Motor Co executive and granddaughter of Henry Ford II was arrested and charged with drunk driving - while her young son was a passenger in her vehicle.

Elena Ford, the automaker's director of global marketing, reportedly lost control of her 2011 Ford Explorer around 10pm local time on Sunday in Ferndale, Michigan, WDIV-TV said.

The vehicle jumped a kerb, drove on the median and steered back into traffic, according to a police report.

Police said Ms Ford, 44, was pulled over and failed a sobriety test before being arrested. She was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and with child endangerment.

Her 11-year-old son was in the car, police said.

Ford's lawyer confirmed the arrest, calling it a private matter.

Stupidity at it's finest. Driving drunk with her 11 year old son in the car is straight up idiotic and careless.

Shaun from sales was once heard saying:

"Dave in accounting hit his dog when it peed on the verandah. And we don't call him Dave the Dog Hitter.

Craig from Engineering hissed at his cat when it scratched him when trying to move it from his seat. We don't call him Craig the Cat hisser.

But you F*&k one sheep......"

Can Elena live this down? Can we now assume that some drunken lady from Michigan doesn't know what she's talking about when she claims the Falcon is too conservative?

Was she Drunk when she derided the Falcon in the first place?

Wow one thread invovling a bunch of marines who were killed because the driver amoungst other things was drunk behind a Commodore wheel and they are bogans, while another thread involving a drunk which could have quite easily caused the same result and all you can do is praise the car she was driving??? What car would you expect she would be driving, a G8??? Would that make her a bogan then??? Sorry, I have no sympathy for drink drivers as they seem to share little regard for the rest of the motoring public either.

Stupid is what stupid dose.

What, she had marines in the car as well. I can see now why she thinks Ford Australia marketing is too conservative. If she wasnt so, well how can one say this nicely, of the unattractive persuasion, she sounds like fun.
