Anyone from here affected by the big fire up in the hills?

Not me but a friend was, house damaged, but fortunately not destroyed. He was probably saved by the fact that he had cleared the area around his house from trees, no bushes close to the house and kept his gutters clean. the house next door to him went up though unfortunately.

Also had a couple of friends fighting the fiires as members of the vollies.

Yeah my dad is a vollie but he also working for CALM DEC aswell
