Anybody got info as to what and will happen tommorow?? Today was just the parade lap, even though they advertised that the pole positioning will be happening. |

Parade lap?
Between 1400 and 1500 there was the Bayliner shootout from Fort Denison to Shark Island. From the briefing I have read for tomorrow the race commences at 1530 and goes for an hour. It starts from Fort Denison, heading east and on the starboard side of the channel with a couple of rounding marks east of Shark Island, before doing a loop back around to the west passing north of Shark Island and Clarke Island, finishing back at Fort Denison.

There was a mention of someone dying earlier that morning, and they decided not to do the shootout thing. This is what I heard.
The whole schedule has gone to shambles me thinks. I want to see this! but the expense of going to see it is noticeable. |

When you are there watching you have no idea whats going on, the police boats atleast could tell you whats going on. |

Ah ok, yeap. You are right. There was a fatality this morning.
Parade lap was at 1410, two laps of the course. I won't speculate about the details regarding this morning's crash but there is a 15 knot speed limit on an invisible line drawn between Blues Point directly south, west of the Harbour Bridge and between Kirribille Point and Bennelong Point, east of it. There's also a 20 knot limit west of Blues Point heading upriver. The race schedule will hopefully continue as briefed for tomorrow with the Shoot out occurring at 1500.
