Tundra also suffers by being the fifth most popular pickup after F150, Silverado, Sierra and Ram.
An engine reliability problem is the last thing that Toyota needs, hopefully it will get the situation resolved.

Should have stuck with the tried and proven V8.

If it's a manufacturing issue as in the debris getting into the engine during assembly that should be easily fixed....unlike say having insufficient oil flow hitting the crank bearings and needing a rework of the block design.

Australia gets the iforce hybrid motor, which is not subject to the recall.

The Toyota engine issue is that bad, dealers in the US won’t trade current model Tundra’s.
