Default Wanted to buy: AU2 6 cyc motor

I am after a standard AU2 motor in good condition low milage. What have you got? Thanks Located Sale, Gippsland willing to travel to Melbourne.

One option is to check out the salvage auctions. Can get a busted up AU, sometimes with decent kilometres, for $200~400 depending on the overall condition and parts.
Hire a trailer and tow it home. Swap out the engine & tranny, sell enough parts to pay for it all, keep some spares, call scrap man for rest.

I have an au2 engine 139K, complete with transmission and all bolt ons and computer. Came out of a fairmont that was rear ended. Pm if interested
