Default NEW FG X XR8 and G6E REAR END

What do you think of the new rear end
To be honest it doesn't do anything for me

The XR just doesn't look tough from the rear, depending on how the exhaust tips exit the car on the XR8, it may look tougher

It's pretty amusing though, considering the XR8 next year will be reborn with the same spec engine as the FG GT, could you imagine being a HSV owner forking out all that money on a brand new GTS, then pulling up to the lights next to a FH XR8 and then sitting side by side all the way to 100 and beyond
Even more embarrasing would be the lower spec variants of the VF in HSV's stable getting whopped by a factory XR8.

Terrible.. It already looks dated, and it hasn't even been released!

The blue one is the XR6 hence the single exhaust. The XR8 has quad pipes.

Don't like it at all. It's rear is more like a fresher version of the old VT commodore. Each to their own though as the saying goes. It's only going to be with us for a short time so I doubt it will grow on me............FG wins in the looks department for me.

Why is there another thread on this? The rear has been shown several times in the other thread over the last week or so.

Not too bad but it would look a lot better with a higher profile rear spoiler..

G6E looks miles better, the wing ruins the clean lines.
Only downside to the G6E is the poxy looking exhaust.
