There are no paddle shifts.
Why are people so keen to see them anyway?

They would be a novelty really. One of those things you use a couple of times and then probably never touch again. Might be good for people who hit the strip or track though.

Drove a Mazda with paddles.
The auto in them isn't as good as the ZF & I found the need to help it along regularly.
I reckon if I had paddles in my car I would use them occasionallly on the road due to the ZF being a great predictive auto but would be a real benefit on the track.
Doesn't matter as sadly it ain't going to happen.

I had paddles on my canoe. They came in handy.

Paddles on an XR8 would be nice. Crackle on the blip down would be joyous.

Price will be deciding factor..so long as Ford don't do their usual and over price..its got to match or come close to the SS/SSV or sales will be hard..sad to say....Price realistically and it will sell to more than die hards.....

They are supply limited with auto gearbox's, so they are not in a great panic to match SS/SSV sales volume. They will be north of $50K, probably closer to $55K.

They have stockpiled german zf's for the xr8's and xr6 turbos, so it looks like the earlier models will be the go.
