I know the cars Ford sells so successfully over there are small, and quite cheap. How would Falcon go being 3 or 4 times the price, and double the size?

Size is a sign of prestige, it could help over there.

That is true... But the Ford badge generally isn't, typically in Asia. Here in SE Asia it's the Euros that take that title.
I'm speculating (as is everyone) to the success of Falcon exports to Asia... It's just one of those things that need to be tried to find out... But is it worth the risk to FAPA? That is the big question.

Japan has alot of capacity taxes and the high population naturally discourages larger cars
