The claim took 5 months to pay out but that was extreme circumstances so I forgive them that. I will be insuring my bike through a specialist bike insurer however, as I don't think aami insure bikes. Another car I would happily insure with them though.
AAMI Does insure motor bikes.

Let's just say not all of them use OEM parts, but they will all use OEM lighting whether it be new or used.

i had major dramas finding an insurer for my XR8 because i was 25.
a lot of places flat out said no.
others had weird things that had to be met like shannons wanting an attached garage ..

ended up going with CGU

I've recently had a claim with AAMI (Thursday). Dropped the car off at a panel shop. Pick it up on Tuesday afternoon. Small damage, but no issues for me. Last claim was in early naughties still with AAMI, no issues then either.

I am getting a new Territory when they are finally released and I'll do a call around. What's the issue with AAMI? I lease so I need fully comp. Who should I contact?
