Not that anyone who knows me would say this is a secret...

Alfa Romeos (Owned 10), Fiats, Lancia's.

I do have a soft spot for new era Skodas tho....

I flirted with the idea of one of these (in RaceBlue/Wagon Spec):

But now will probably end up with one of these:

Those skodas are awesome value for money, wouldn't hesitate to get the sporty wagon or the diesel.

Okay when I was about 12, I really really REALLY dreamed of having one of these puppies when I got my P's..... :P True...

Man has my taste in cars changed. I'd still love a pig off roader with lift kits and winch and road roaring tyres though. Just not a Feroza.

Wouldnt worry about the one if its been flooded, the Moke shells are galvanised.

back when a few of my mates were into four wheel driving i gave a fair bit of consideration to getting one of these (so versatile!).

think i said earlier in this thread that i was keen on a holden drover when in actual fact i actually meant the a suzuki stockman, probably the much much more ****weaker cousin to the car featured above. don't see too many of the stockman around down here.

disclaimer, disclaimer, disclaimer - no offence was intended to any party who may currently own a suzuki stockman, if it were practical i'd have one too. tue story.

When I was 16 i wanted a VX Calais (well it was a nice car back then)
Then I wanted a Jeep and rugged-it out with massive tyres, bars etc
Then I wanted a Liberty 1998 Bilstein edition
Then I wanted a 180SX
Then I wanted an AU XR6
Then I wanted an AU LTD
Then i got my BA Futura and loved it!

Now all i want is mad JDM goodness - list goes something like Cefiro, Century, 300ZX, S30Z (Devil Z style), R32 GTR, 370Z, S14 200SX with a S15 front end conversion (looks so good done well)

But i've got a company car now so i'm going to get my bike license, buy a postie bike and either Rat-rod it or Cafe Racer the postie bike until i can afford something by Deus Ex Machina (mmmmm) - OR instead buy another Escort next year which is most probably what i'll do.

One of my little secrets (since you mentioned the R35) is that I HATE the new R35 GTR.

Sure it's fast, but it has to be the geekiest car known to man.

The old 70's Landcruiser. Spent many hours in a mates tray back version as a young fella - the first 4wd burnout i'd seen - although not much smoke & didn't last long was still cool. I aquired a rough & ready petrol engined 79 shorty that i caned & bashed a bit over a couple of years. Excellent vehicles, reliable & great fun. After a few failed attempts we could even get the canoe from the roof into the water, get in & out without getting our feet wet, the first time the ground under the 1 1/2 of water wasn't quite as solid as we first thought & required a tow. Even used it to remove a trolley from a Kmart carpark i spied on a busy afternoon - unfortunately for the trolley it got very squashed between the steel bullbar & the block wall. It took Kmart about 10mins. before the call over the PA system, opps sorry mate & never returned to that shopping centre in the cruiser for a while.
