I did a burnout in dads 1972 LTD with a 400ci cleveland once. just showing of to the coons. she was a open wheeler diff and she spun through first and way into second.
The old boy liked it when i had driven it, because he said it always performed better after i drove it.
I walked down stairs to see dad and big bro pulling the rear wheels off and adjusting the brakes. big bro starts jumping up and down about a tyre that was torn to threads, it had worn away half the tread and them 15in radials were not cheap back in them days. i thought f@&k that road had been laid with sharp crushed rock in it.
Dad did not say a word. and still let me drive the car. he must of seen the look on my face when i seen the tyre.
