Default subaru seats?

so ive heard that the subaru wrx seats are a straight fit into the escort mk1 or 2 unknown?... if this is right.. what model subaru? what model escort?

if this is right then i was thinking maybe the subaru seat rails would be alright for race (style) seats???

Rob the wifes got a Subby and the lads got a few Escorts I'll check tomorrow but doubt it, and unless your lightly built ther Subaru seats seem to be a pain in the hip bit narrow.
Cheers,
Les

No worries, checked the Sub and the seats won't go straight in, Chap over the road has a pintara wrecked with good interior will measure when I get a chance. according to my brother whom I bought the lads Mk2 off it has Pintara front shock inserts to give more strength for racing but can't guarantee that till I put some side by side. Certainly stronger than the Mk2 normally is.
Cheers,
Les
