Heres the corresponding elements to the numbers:
66 - Terbium
73 - Tantalium
13 - Aluminium
21 - Scandium
52 - Tellurium
_______
10 - Neon
12 - Magnesium

Does this help in anyway? probably not

A periodic chart on a forum full of girls? Are you sure it's not a trick question, how many slaps upside the head your wife is going to give you during her periodic chart?

Well, 6+6 = 12 (last number), 7+3 = 10 (2nd last number), so perhaps the missing number is 1+3 = 4?

I suppose i had better not mention that i am a chemistry/physics teacher, lol

Does that mean that 21 and 52 are only there to throw us off?

I didn't do too badly in Chemistry, until I found out that my chemistry teacher and one of my friends were making some chemistry of their own outside of school hours... :

It's been 8 years, and he's no longer allowed to work as a teacher, but they live together now.

Nope. Strathfield Girls.

The rumour was that the principal found out about him going out to the movies with junior students and called him into the office, threw the employment section of the Sydney Morning Herald at him and told him he no longer worked there.

I believe he was only a year or two out of uni at the time, and all the younger girls thought he was cute.

I did chemistry - did the sodium tablet experiment, blew the beaker up, when it exploded it hit the next group's beaker on their bench, broke that and made a bit of a mess.

The next day I didn't do chemistry anymore.

So Molybdenum is the technical term for the answer to Life, The Universe, and Everything?

We did an experiment where we chucked a whole heap of dry ice on a 2L coke bottle and screwed the lid on very very tight. Big bang anyone? Scared half the school into thinking there was a bomb of some sort.

We then did the same thing but buried it in the long jump pit, blowing sand about ten meters into the air! All endorsed by our teacher of course!

Don't give me ideas. I'm a very impressionable young man.

Wish our teachers let us do stuff like that (in the 90's). Instead, I had to just manually mix whatever chemicals we were given that day in amounts deemed suitable by me and heat them up just to see what happened. I don't think I ever did any of the experiments properly.
