Default What Are Your Plans...........

So who out there (that couldn't get to Darwin) has plans for Sunday's round at Hidden Valley. What are you doing....watching it with your friends, club, alone??

We are going to spend the day at new club members home to watch the race on their big **** tv. Start the day by meeting at McD's for a coffee n chat, then head off to Scone to settle in for the day, with lot's of good friends, food and racing. :eclipsee_ Spit roast for dinner, mmmm :sm_drool:

Hopefully able to cheer the Blue Oval home.

Look's like it will be a rainy day here so I will probably sit in the warmth of my home and watch the race with my G/F and our dog's, like we ussually do.

I'm still not sure if I'm working Sunday so I'll either be watching it alone at home or watching it alone at work. :yeees:

Funny you say that John, I've been thinking about getting out this past week or so. Some times I really wonder why I put up with some of the crap I do. The reason I may be working this Sunday is because one of my Leading Hands is unfit for duty. I'm a Chief and I'm in his watchbill, for God's sake. We are so short of people that I'm keeping duties. If he is still unfit to work, I'll have to go into the Ship on Sunday.

Then again, my fiancee lives in Tassie so I'm living alone at the moment, what else is there to do? I make good money and it more than pays the bills so I'll put up with the crap and stay in for a few more years.

With your quals you won't have to much of a prob getting work..whether full/part time
and you have a non assessable pension.(if I've got it right...means tested)

Go for it sport yu've earned it!!!!

Thanks mate,

She moves up here with me in December. My first marriage was ruined by 15 years of sea time. I'm planning at this stage to do another 5 years then that will be it. I have enough qualifications beside my trade to guarantee at good job when I call it quits plus I've been offered a few lately.

Still, it doesn't help me this weekend with the V8s!

Well, I'm heading to Brisbane to get a diff put in the ute, then off to the AME Show at the Exhibition Centre, so I'll miss it, for sure.

I really hate that, I missed the last round at Shanghai too.
