Hi Everyone,
We have been invited for a club display at the Westernport Show and Shine Festival. From the organisers: "The day will have lots of entertainment for members and their families at the festival, such as water events, Free Live Entertainment on the Main Stage, teddy bears picnic, an art and craft show, carnival rides, water events, craft market and much much more. The Hastings foreshore is a wonderful venue with direct views over the bay. Bring a picnic or enjoy the wide variety of food from our vendors. Many of these are local clubs, such as scouts, that use this event as a fund-raiser to support their community activities. We would ask that your members be at the entrance of the foreshore grounds in time for a 10am start, and that they remain in position on the foreshore until 3pm, giving the general public plenty of time to admire your vehicles." This is on Sunday 24th February (the week after All Ford Day in Geelong).I am taking names for this event. We will meet at approx 9am and head in together - meeting point tbc, but will confirm to all entrants the week prior Please contact events1@fpvxrclub.com if you are interested in attending.

A reminder to let me know if you want to put your names down...... I like these local events - just as I am sure Brute6 loves the AFD in Geelong!
It's a big family day- the festival is not just car displays, there's food and drinks, face-painting (for the little kids not the big ones!) and plenty for the little 'uns to do. Cheers,

The down side to clipsal is it will be a Sunday only trip, 1am start, dodging kangaroos, take in the concert then make the trip back afterwards, dodging more kangaroos and arrive home when the sun comes up Monday.
