Default will this sump fit on my engine?

it looks modified im not sure if it will clear anything on my engine bay.

any escort nuts who know if this will fit?

( mk2 1976 1600 ) this is for the pinto 2.0 going in.

The 1600 "KKKKEEEENNNTT" and 2lt "pinto" engines are totally different and the sumps are not interchangeable. If you are going to fit a pinto into your car at a later stage, the RS alloy sump will fit (as its from the same engine) but it not really neccesary, as the standard pressed steel sump is adequate for pretty much all applications. The RS alloy sump was specific to the Euro RS2000s so they are rare, so subsequently trainspotters like to fit them to their cars....Put it this way, I don't look under my car when I'm driving it, so having a $200 sump as a opposed to a $50 one, makes no real difference.

haha lmao im looking for a sump cuz mine is damaged. and yeah u have a good point. i keep finding $280 chrome sumps
