hey guys,
i've got a 3.77:1 escort sittin around in the shed that i'm not usin. just wondering what something like that is worth? the dude at the wreckers told me centre alone is worth around 275 and considering i got a complete diff, i was just wonderin what it is all worth. thanks |

The wrecker is dreaming. I sold my last diff centre for $50 and that was a 3.54. The 3.77s are the most common, so I'd give you $100 tops for it. You might get more for it on ebay, as there are a lot of "green" Escort owners on there. Most Escort stalwarts are looking to convert their diffs to stronger units like Hilux or Courier diffs. The 4.1s are still popular with the racing boys and fetch good money but most of them are long gone.

i bought a completed rear end, with leaf springs diff brakes for 50 bucks the other day. The diff is a 3.77, they are as whooligan said, really popular.
im sure someone would buy it off you no worries. cheers (Also if anyone has a 4.11 diff in tas, im interested) |

i think i read this somewhere but i just need to clarify, did the 4.11 diff come out in mk1 panel vans and mk1 sedan autos???
trying to source one and having a bit of trouble getting hold of one. cheers |

yeah i can see where you are coming from, they are becoming are rare bit of kit now.
have been searching for a while, so maybe have to look into the hilux conversion. cheers guys (again if anyone has a 4.11 i am very willing to buy it. |
