Default Ford on Stop Supply for F-Series from Navistar International

This could only make matters worse for Ford, as it looks to be their biggest selling big engine in their biggest selling, biggest vehicle. Navistar International to stop supplying Ford with the 6.4L V8 Powerstroke diesel. What will Ford do? Whatever Ford replace it with, it can't be good for them to go from a 7.3, to a 6.0 (and get bad reports on their brand new engine, replace it with a 6.4 a couple years later, and then have a supply issue. It will also mean goodbye to any chance of getting the F series back here soon. To be honest, Ford could make a 6.6L TD V12 version of the CGI PAG diesel for the F250 and F350 (4.4L V8 version to be used in the F150)

It will be sorted out soon enough. They would both be losing millions of dollars per day of shutdown and would both want a quick resolution.
