Good going guys!
I still remember that morning when I checked out the newspaper, I had two offers (one I'm attending now and another at MIBT which was full-fee). My ENTER wasn't that good so it was the only uni I could get into

You could always spend your gap year in the ADF! But I think that starts next year!

Whatever you do, enjoy the break, earn some good money and mod your car! LOL!

Once you get in though, it gives you scope to move around. Keep at it, good on you for going. Some people would crack it and skip Uni altogether.

Congrats dude. I got in my first preference too but thats cause it was the easiest to get in back then (Mechanical engineering at Swinburne, graduated over 4 years ago now).

Getting that degree gives you a great feeling of achievement. Comes in handy too.

I thought about the ADF but you have to be in it for some time.. I'm still thinking about it. Also looking at going to work in a mine somewhere to get some cash up..

And yes.. Car mods are in order ;)

The most important thing about Uni is not to get excited about it.

When I got into Uni I was like, "I'm at Uni, gee, things will be fun now."

Lie.

Hate Uni. Hate the course. But I'm 87.5% through so I'll finish. See how I go with Primary Education.
Worst part are the academics (tutors/lecturers). They take their stuff so seriously to the point where their field of study is their sexual material.

Mind you, there are some great tutors out there too. Some will really engage you and won't speak ****. Unfortunately, some will.

But good luck with Uni. Make the most of it because once you finish Uni, irresponsibility is out the window as you'll be working.
