SZ Ford Territory MkII Prices Realigned

TS, TX and Titanium gain customer-focused features and connectivity
SYNC™ with Emergency Assistance standard across the range
Added value across the range for Australia’s only locally designed and engineered SUV

MELBOURNE, 25 Sept., 2014 – In an aggressive signal to the competition, Ford has sharpened pricing on its award-winning Ford Territory SUV with the Manufacturer’s List Price for the 2014 Territory SUV reduced by up to $6,500.
With recommended prices starting at $36,9901 for the SZ Territory TX MkII, Ford General Marketing Manager, David Katic, said the MLP had been reduced between $3,000 and $6,500 across the three-model range.
“The price reduction means exceptional value for customers for a vehicle that has won hearts across the country as Australia’s only locally engineered and designed SUV,” Katic said. “More than 155,000 Territory SUVs have found homes across Australia and our loyal fans now have an added incentive to include the Territory Mk II on their shopping lists.
“With a fuel-efficient 4.0-litre petrol engine, a proven 2.7-litre V6 common rail turbo diesel engine, styling changes and a host of new features, including Ford’s SYNC2™ system, the SZ Territory Mk II represents excellent value.”
The Territory SZ MkII TX rear-wheel drive MLP is now $36,9901, compared to $39,990 for the outgoing SZ Territory TX RWD while the range-topping Titanium TDCi all-wheel drive is $56,7401, compared to the outgoing SZ Territory Titanium TDCi all-wheel drive at $59,990
Katic says with the pricing realignment, the $36,990 Territory TX rear-wheel drive petrol model gains improved features, which add further value and includes a reverse camera, 8’’ high-resolution touch colour screen, voice control, DAB+ radio, SYNC2™ with Emergency Assistance and front parking sensors.
Similar great news is found on every vehicle in the SZ Territory Mk II range. For example, the additional value for SZ Mk II TS and Titanium RWD petrol buyers is significant versus the current SZ models.
“Ford offers excellent value for money and we believe the combination of additional features in the Territory SUV range and lower prices will be a winner. As a family vehicle, the Territory continues to deliver on its strengths – driveability, performance, spaciousness, seating flexibility and safety.”
Ford’s proven 4.0-litre in-line six cylinder petrol and 2.7-litre V6 TDCi engines carry over in the Territory MkII line-up.
For customers who prefer diesel fuel efficiency, stepping into a 2.7-litre TDCi V6 diesel is a $3,250^ premium over the 4.0-litre petrol in-line six cylinder, while all-wheel drive carries a $5,000^ premium over the rear-wheel drive models. More than 70 per cent of Territory customers favour the V6 TDCi engine.

The Territory MkII series walk is:
TX – 3 models available: RWD petrol, RWD diesel, AWD diesel
TS – 3 models available: RWD petrol, RWD diesel, AWD diesel
Titanium – 3 models available: RWD petrol, RWD diesel, AWD diesel
