Default Tilligerry Motorama

Attention all B Series members

bseries.com.au has been invited to take part in the 2010 Tilligerry Motorama at Tanilba Bay, Port Stephens.

A personal invitation has been extended to bseries by the event organiser Don Barret.

Quote:
Tilligerry Motorama

After three successful years, the Tilligerry Motor Show has outgrown the display area at the NRMA.

Next yearthe dates being the 15th and 16th May 2010, the show will be hosted at the Tilligerry RSL complex, Lemon Tree Passage Rd, Tanilba Bay.

We would like to take this opportunity and invite your club to join this annual event. It is a god area for your club to make a weekend in beautiful Port Stephens. There is ample accomodation at the Caravan Park and a motel at Lemon Tree Passage.

The event will run over two days with the formal display on Sunday at a cost of $5.00 entry per vehicle plus an extra $5.00 for trophy entrants. Categories for trophies will be; Best Club Display, Peoples Choice and Best Marquee. Starting time will be 9.00am with the presentation at 2.00pm to allow for long distance travellers. Apart from Peoples Choice, judging will be by the entrants themselves.

Saturday, along with those who want to display both days, there will be amusements for children, various stalls for the ladies, helicopter rides, sausage sizzle, raffle ticket sales and live music, with a Rock N Roll night in the evening hosted by the RSL.

All proceeds from this event will be going to the Nicholeasrust and we are hoping to raise six to ten thousand dollars.

Please nominate if your club will be attending so we can reserve the area required.

Don Barrett.

All proceeds will be donated to the Nicholastrust.

A preliminary list to get an idea of how many intend to go to Tanilba Bay for the "Tilligerry Motorama"
Please add your name if you wish to attend.

If you need help/assistance for this let me know Mark. Can these flags be used for any other shows including Parkes?

A full day event for the Sunday would be good. Im thinking we could meet up at Beresfield BP at 8am and cruise out to be at the show before 9am on the Sunday morning.

Tracey is getting them made up through someone at her work, they will be the teardrop style as pictured below with the b-series logo on it. The frame may have to be made-up though, shouldnt be too much of a problem. Not sure of the cost yet, I will let you know.

You might be better off travelling up all nice and casual on the Saturday, to be all set for Sunday morning. You could probably even camp at our place (close to the meeting point) Sat night. Sounds like a BBQ and a beer or 2 might be on the cards.

We will use the same set up as used for Parkes last year. Entry forms can be printed off by each entrant, filled in, then posted to me, payments via bank deposit. Or this can be done in person if meeting up at a criuse prior to the Motorama (I will PM entrants the postal address for the forms and the account number for entry payments).

Please remember to include a stamped, self-addresses, DL size (standard)envelope with your entry.

Theres a little bit more to this than I first realised. Anything else I havent considered?

How about if we get some shirts made up with our club names on them for the show, then we'll look like a real club?
