I have nightmarse about that happening all of the time.
It's disgusting. Are you insured? Ring any local radio stations, etc. Ask them to put a notice over for people to look out for your car... if anyone sees it, tell them to call the police. Do as much as you can to get it back! Good luck. |

That is really sad to hear. I hope you get it back in one piece. As for the robbers, their day will come.
Meanwhile go patroling urself around the area and surronding suburbs. All the best in finding it.

I'd be looking at that dodgy looking guy with the glass's, very shifty looking.... Sorry John.
Man I hate to see good cars taken. Unfortunally now a days you need to use aftermarket security systems otherwise you might as well leave the keys in it. I hope your insurance company looks after you!

Mate, I know someone that had thier commodore stolen on saturday, They printed about 300 flyers and gave them out EVERYWHERE. With pics of the car and the numberplate.
Someone called up and told them they saw the car parked at a street.. They got the car back on Tuesday (yesterday) Id suggest trying the same thing.

seems to be more e-series getting stolen more often, is smartlock not detterring or even slowing these guys down anymore?
It'd have to be a half knowledgeable person to steal it, right?

Tibbe locks can be picked. My friend at ford made his own key that he can use to open and start any car ea2 - BA. It comes in handy at the plant when people put the wrong locks in cars etc. ANd no he doesnt use it for illigal things :p. Sorry to hear about your car Max. The worst thing is with the club sticker on the car the theif might actually get back to here and see this. I sure as hell hope they don't.

Gee, sorry to hear. That is a nice looking car. Seriously hope you get it back with next to no damage. With the number of FF.au members having their cars stolen recently, we nearly need a whole section where people post up their stolen cars. I hope these pricks are caught, and are punished to the full extent of the law. Best of luck getting it back.

Also you cant exclude the fact that it could of been someone from the forums who stole it, they would probably know your mods, car condition etc.

Hey Karl, how would that work anyway, don't they have chips in the key to disable smartlock? Sorry to hear about your car FairmontEL, I work all over melb so I'll keep an eye out for it, I know it doesn't sound like much but I usually single out done up Falcons a mile away ;) No doubt something like that would stand out cause you don't see too many with the spotties in the bar. |

Well I hate to say it but occasionally we have had a stolen car dumped in my area (preston) and all around the car is black marks on the road. Car has either burst tyres, busted diff or gearbox. They usually get dumped at night, police turn up either that night or next morning (or both) and the car is towed before I get home the day after.
I'd be thinking thats how you might find your car unfortunately.

Same thing was said to me about my car, however itwas just junkie scum who needed a ride. My car was left on thier front lawn (junkies and s-m-r-t) of thier house, with hardly a scratch on it. I hope you find your car soon and in good condition, and that you find out who did it, so that you can show them what a b!tch karma really is.
