Well done Jason, we're proud of you mate, that is a ripper of a time. Dazz 15.06 straight off the bat, thats tough, and im sure it wouldve sounded tough too with no exhaust, well done!!!!

Comparing your slip to mine when i ran 15.25, i also ran a 2.35 60ft my ET was only .02 quicker but your mph of 93.91 pips mine which was just 91.16.

How were you launching the car, 1500rpm stall? :voldar02:

Roughly that, i would sit it around 1200 on the first orange light and then once it hit the second i would foot down still braking though by the time it went up a little 3rd orange was up and time to go. These mph and times and all are confusing me

I think I speak for alot of people when I say IT DIDN'T..Bar that little rotary wagon, it was the loudest car there, and not in a good way imho

Nice times though boys, a deserved pat on the back.

XR6Gal got 15.61 from her stock as a rock XR6 which was a mighty effort

Tell me about it, we practically have the same launch and E.T but everything else is different.

Seems like a good launch technique well done.

Dazz what was your 60ft?

Racecraft, i was so trying not to rip on the slooow times achieved, but if you are going to race- rip the ****in exhaust off so it at least feels like youre racing, i noticed our car was the only one not put up here, funny considering on the video all you can see is ****in camera flashes, Oh and NO-ONE else had a car close to resembling mine, depends what you want to look at i suppose...

It dropped by 7tenths AL, trying to do some R/D for all of us, standard ford computer wont cop a decent burnout,. As you would know it changes from pride to show in the blink of an eye. Back to back i wish i kept racing with jason, but who the **** goes fastest on first of there 7 passes???Gloves are off now. When computer comes back-look out & i will always run open exhaust-THATS racing......

Thats good work dazz, the more r&d we all do its helpfull.
It goes to show, if you want a ball tearing car, an exhaust that has the least restriction at high rpm will work best, (down low it will be a pig)
open exhaust sounds like a fun, might try it one week.

So dazz by computer, do you mean the flash tuner?

its crazy to think that they never turned the ex cam on beacuse of "emision control"!
And they marketed the car as DUAL VCT, so we could sue ford for miss leading information.

Yep we had a good night, dazza definatley got me on the first run, 2nd was mine then we got split up racing others, I definatley have to get diff gears changed and a flash tune and stallie, once there in watch out, my power now pushin to 94. mph I have got to get it going quicker.
Tried different ways of takin off on 5 runs last 2 quickest, last run of night was purely burnout as I was hangin to do a big one then the bastards red lighted me for burning over the line.
Car felt good all the way on every run. Tell ya got plenty of " sweet engine bay" comments on both mine a dazza's cars and lots of interest in our time not being turbo's.

I am now on the mission of gettin the 190 in asap, still got the detailing to do but if I hook it up as the 190 with all the wiring looms etc I will get the full dual vct timing and adjustment available and be able to push more out of the car than now and by god I better have better times.
All in time though.
Cheers
Jason

Hes a bit more computer smart than me, i ran a 185kw calais(vp model i think) and got him by 3 tenths last run hehehe...If someone does have a video YES please, i thought it sounded tuff- Opinions vary _

I can ask a few others for you via PM about vids as I know that some were taken.
I am also another that said that Dazzlers car did not sound tough, it sounded shocking without the exhaust. But that is just my opinion, each to their own.

Off to find out about the vids for you guys. (I didn't take any cos I had forgotten to charge the stupid camera : )

any vids would be good fiery, the only part of Dazz having his exhuast down was that i couldnt here if my car was goin besides that compared it fit in quite well with most cars out there, gotta keep testin the boundaries on these things, bloody computer operated cars.
