mags and tyres/ body kits..93 is getting back a bit .
get all the dents and scratches fixed and painted proffesionally by panel beater have the interior looked at by a motor trimmer. then make sure the mechanicls and suspension are roadworthy

Everything is perfect mechanical wise it runs great. Before i owned it, it only had one owner and it was an elderley couple and they took care of it. In regards to paint there is no dents or major scatches in the paintwork but i am thinking about getting it respayed anyway. I was just wondering how much am i looking at all i need is the materials because i know a qualified spray painter. I think before that i will purchase a bodykit and get it all painted at once.

acrylic lacque takes longer to prepare and longer to get right it also has a clear coat
forget the ratio but for acrylic lacqure say approx 8 ltres of paint and double that in thinners 2pak is less

8L?? you could do 4 cars with that!!!
To paint a Laser would take maybe 1.5L of 2pak if it's a solid colour. If it's metallic you still need a clearcoat with 2pak. acrylic is cheaper but you get a much better and more durable finish with 2pak.

Realise that unless you go manual and a different engine there is no point trying to make it fast. The automatic box will break in seconds of receiving any decent power ie the 1.8L turbo from the TX3s.
Can you drive manual? How much do you want to spend? These are the questions you need to ask.

I am not really wanting to make it go faster i am just wanting to make it look really nice. And no i cant drive a manual. I think the 1st things i am goin to do is get a bodykit and a paint job and go from there. I am goin to work on the outside first and then get to the interior after that. I have decided on 2pak paint in black and then i am doin a gold glitter spec clear topcoat. So if i decided that i want more power is there anything i can do to it being an auto?

Not really. Just get some decent plugs/leads and perhaps extractors which will make it a bit nicer on high speeds.
Check out http://www.lasermods.com.au/ for some bodykits.
