New Pic's Update

Welcome Cougar-Boy, seems as we're slowly flushing out the Oz Cougars, how many's that now Dan 5ish or so. The camera is a Fuji Fine Pix S5600, gets some good reviews and was the closest thing I could find that was half DSLR & half compatct, just have to learn how to use it, but there's always the point and shoot option till I get the hang of it.

Back to the topic at hand, Thats a nice cam dude. My Dad works for Fuji Xerox in the printing division. I think the one he's looking at getting is the S9000 through the work discount

(the 9 mega pixel one). Don't quote me on the model number though :P

I reckon that VIC is looking like a very "central" place to have it :P Seems to be a fair few in NSW though. I don't see many around here. There was only about 7 for sale in VIC (all pretty shitty except mine of course). I'm the only Cougar for miles around here

OzCougarFest could be a reality, we should start thinking up ideas for one in 2007? At some sort of central point for everyone.

Though NSW has the most members, I think we are spread out by distance, and also, it was over the past 1.5 years that I've been on the forum that we've slowly worked up to that many members. Also, not everyone posts regularly, and out of those there, only pcperfection and myself have attended events. So the Cougar retains its uniqueness whereever we go... and once you start working on them, you stand out that little bit more

Atleast this part of the forum is seeing more action

Let me encourage you all to get something together in 2007, you might find it brings a few more out of the cupboard :eclipsee_

Also don't forget that you can usually get some club space in the saturday papers to get the word out.

Congrats on the cougars guys.
