Default All AU clockprings the same?

I've recently done a clockspring and after being told by Ford that they don't have any left and can't get any, and not finding any new online, have resorted to wreckers and managed to find a few, but none of them were from XR8s.

I noticed the part numbers on the clocksprings I've found are different to the part number I got off Ford. Is this going to be an issue? And are the clocksprings different between six cylinder and eight cylinder? Wouldn't imagine there would be a difference, as it would be more related to steering wheel controls (as well as the airbag obviously)?
