Default What would 20" wire wheels be worth?

Anyone know?

I know they would be available in EA-EL offset, I seen 'em on some XW and XY's and they have the same so should be sweet.

Just wondering what they're worth and where to get 'em.

Cheers lads.

all that needs is whitewalls and it would look sick imo.

ebay would be the cheapest.

20'' wires will look good on anything! The ones on ebay will fit just make sure they are "standard offset'' not ''reverse''. They do need a lot more care than a set off alloys, cleaning cleaning and more cleaning! They need to be very well balanced as they are not perfectly straight/true like an alloy rim, the rims have a little side to side movement which will give a little steering wheel wobble at low speeds. The rims I run are ''no name'' chinese made wich I imported direct from the manufacturer (the only US made rims are Dayton's $$$$) I also run chinese tyres Wanli 225/35 as they have the highest load rating I could find. You can get the tyres on ebay as well, around $235ea. They are not really a bolt on and forget item like a set of alloys you have to keep an eye on them so they dont loosen off and check tyre pressure weekly as they bleed off a little psi.

Well if they're on an XE, then those particular rims will fit E-Series no worries.

Oh, and I reckon Enviwalls for the win! (over whitewalls)

say bye bye to your bank account I reckon. Normal alloy 20's are like $3200 with tyres, chromies are a bit more and as for wires I'd hate to think. I would also want to spend my weekends doing stuff other than cleaning brake dust off 400 spokes :P

One of my mates saw a fairlane at the beach the other day with twenty inch gold wires. He said the guy told him they were from the us and cost 5000 or 6000 with tyres and he said they were a fuggin ***** to clean. Pretty sure it was a ef/el style fairlane[dont know the models]

I'm looking at these for the EL :P In case I get the urge to get wheels or if I can pick up a set of 19's or 20's cheap these will be the ones. I'll add a little more chrome here and there as well to set 'em off and SLAM it so the bumpers touch the ground... not quite but you know what I mean.

I'll also get some funky esse (essay, whatever) plates to match the look.

Waddayaz reggon? Bit gunna huh... one day. Someone want to photo chop it

When viewed through Firefox the underline from the first bit of text cuts off a bit of the next line. It looks kind of weird.

EDIT: Sounds like a good plan for the EL, but I reckon you can't go past EL GTs, Ultra lows and [SUNNY8] plates :

I've seen a dumped gunmetal NF/L V8 Fairlane cruising around sunshine on chrome 100 spoke dayton wires, with halibrand spinner knock-offs... looks excellent IMO

Not exactly my style, but looks sweet anyway.

Go for it Sunny!
