New Green colour ?

Is there a new bright green colour out,because somebody told me he saw one but it was'nt Envi Green or Citric Acid.
Anybody else seen one around,because i certainly haven't seen one yet.

Saw 1 on the way into Melbourne at easter on the thursday

i see some old skool green , which looks like my mustang lime gold colour, its a pale olive silvery look.. not pretty thats y my car is now kandy apple red

About 4 shades greener than citric acid
IE: some where between citric acid & the old lime glaze XA colour

Yeah it is a new colour John. It is called Toxic. Its basically the same as Citric Acid but a bit more greener if that makes sense!
There's also a new blue coming out later this year, same as the new Munro blue.

The new Monaro blue, is that almost like a Turquoise?? Is that the colour the new Ford blue will be? I like the sound of it. Also like the sound of Toxic as well. Always thought Citric Acid needed more green in it.

That new blue is gonna be called bionic. Its like a flat blue the same as the monaro's turismo blue. I've seen pics of bionic, can't wait to see toxic!!

cant say ive seen toxic, but I have heard of it.

one to look out for is Menace. Its horrible. Very pimpish purple/pink.

The greens that have been on the BA so far are;

Citric Acid (2003-04) - Flat Yellow-green
Zest (2004-) - Light yellowish-goldy-green
Envi (2004-) - Lime green
Congo Green (2002-03) - Forest green
Harvest Green (2003-04) - Forest green with a little gold (replaced Congo Green).

Can't wait to see these new colours though. I know that Ford has only just released a colour called "Icon" which I think is like the Delft Blue of the VX II-VY I Commodore...

Bionic!! Yes, there was an XR8 in that colour at the All Ford Day. Looked great!!

Harvest Green was pure class. Oh for a GT in that colour - fantastic.

Holden's Delft Blue is a really nice colour too - i have had my Jazz Bass resprayed in that colour, and i love it.

I've seen 2 XR6T's in Congo Green this week, but I'm not sure I like it on the XRs.
On a Fairmont/Ghia/Fairlane, yes, but I think the Performance models should get brighter colours.

citric acid has always been 1 of my favorite XR colors...that and blood orange

cant wait to see these new colors though. there is just too many to keep up with...but its good that ford is doing it...the AU lacked XR exclusive colors....with the BA they are just pumping out the colors....good stuff ford

Anyway it's great to see all these new Hero colors coming out and brighten up the place,i really think that Ford have overtaken Holden with their color range.The Ford cars certainly have some presence on the road now.

Yeah we had a big argument on another forum about what colour it was.... everyone thought it was velocity or icon.. lol ended up being like 5 pages long until someone who worked at ford come along and shut them all up saying it was bionic.

when i took the photos, i remember thinking it was velocity or shockwave, as i hadn't seen either of those colors on the street, so wasnt sure....then i was speaking to brad, and we both thought it was a custom aftermarket color....

i saw a new gold coloured BA XR8 sedan on an ad for one of the adelaide ford dealers, i think it looks feral, bionic looks feral too lol

that color is so shit! i saw it on the road on the way home from work once. i did a double take and couldnt believe that a color like that was allowed on an XR. not sure of the name though, but i think it was mentioned in this thread

Yeah I've seen that shit gold... "Blaze". YUCK! I'm still waiting to see Toxic and Menace at the moment...

I like Blaze on the XR's, itd look great on an XR8 without a spoiler. It looks bad on Territory's though.

I like Bionic although as i have said so many times now, there's only so many times Blue can look good.
