Default New Santa Fe

Anyone else think upon first look that the new Santa Fe was a new Ford instead...or maybe an old/new Lincoln...

What a pity - the frontal aspect was pretty brave and pulled it off. Must have been a different shift that designed the rear...

He'd be horrified i cut and paste him, but a Santa Fe buyer (always top of the range) pretty much since they appeared... "It’s a box don’t like it "

Maybe a bridge too far for some of the older entrenched buyers.... (as he is)

I'm a 'bit' younger, do like the front, too much Range Rover/LR in the queues department i'd get confused from a quick glance. That rear end, what'd it say in the cars dont see much of anymore thread, cardboard aided design. Course Hyundai have had some notable misses in the passenger vehicle updates as well they're only reigning in after getting too adventurous (adventurous = designers who think something looks good and innovative and dont bother the public who have to buy them)

It Looks massive. If it’s the size of a regular Santa Fe it might looks awkward

Yeah it's taken a page from the Discovery 5 'how to style a polarising rear end' book.

With a lot of current design getting more square again it's like going back to the XD Falcon's times in lego block edgy design

Surely they could have looked for inspiration in designing the look of the rear off the Ioniq5.

It is like a totally different team did the back with no knowledge of the rest of the vehicle.

They tried to hard squaring off the body and over cooked it, the back is ugghhh but front vaguely reminds me of Land Rover
which was probably the intent, sneak a bit of the design in there to appeal to broader group of buyers…
