if this was a silver zetec in cessnock, one of the ford dealers bought it and jacked up the price 6 grand

"Oh I see"......... it must be sold now, it was a private seller, Tonic Zetec, only done 500km, obviously as new cond, lady owner, $18k, sounded like a good price to me particularly as you may have got it a touch cheaper after ya made an offer........mine was more nearer the $22k mark when I got mine.

I believe it's because they are somewhat known to be "gentler" on the vehicle than their male counterparts.

i wash mine pretty much once a week and if not, then once a fortnight. i polish it sometimes too and get the bug/tar remover out and go round the car to get everything off.
It took me about 1hr 1/2 to clean it last time which included vacuuming the inside and cleaning dash and trims
