Default auxr6 hp ecu /rev limiter question.

Can anyone please tell me if they know the rev limit of an AU xr6 hp car? I was hoping to maybe get one of these to raise the rev limit of the au to make way for some 4:11 's

The unichip is a great performance chip but doesnt cut it in this department.

useless it won't help mate.

XR6 ECU's have the same rev limit 5800rpm as stock cars.

The auto AU XR6 ECU has adaptove shift 6 modes and much more responisve auto shift points and so on.

The XR6 ecu shift points also are lower to match a 3.45 diff which would help with a lower diff.

I was told by an experienced guy from a Ford Service Department that you can't go switching a XR6 ECU into a different model, i.e. falcon or futura, because it doesnt have all the sensors or some crap. I think he didn't know what he was talking about.

rev limits have been able to be changed or removed with Chiptorque chips for years.

Bit of shame about the unichip.I have read that in America they can do rev limiter adjustment. So I have to wonder why not here?

your knowledge is wrong. Unichip can not (100% CAN NOT) change or remove rev limiters or auto change points.
