Default Finally my 3V has the 13 sec slip it deserves !

Was in Sydney for work, thought I may as well take my BA Ghia to WSID and see what it does.
did 4 runs and last run was 13.52 @ 102 mph
could have gone further but had to leave at 8.30 for work commitments.

These runs were in full street trim, even on the taller 20" rims.
Complete with full CVE / Bluepower inlet system.
And full CVE / Redback exhaust system
Maybe one day I will put drag tyres on it to see what it is capable of, but not for now.
The runs were on Mobil 8000 fuel, its main issue is traction, try to stall it up and it just wheel spins.

But I must admit the track is sticky all the way to the end of the 1/4 mile.
The best thing was each run i did was against gen 3's and I beat them everytime.

According to my wife I am going to leave it alone now.....
We will see !! :hihi:

Nice one godd times for a BA ghia in street trim. Stock they tend to be lardy and lazy on the qtr so you've done well.

60 ft time was 1.987.
left the line at around 1000 rpm, if i tried 1500 it just lit em up.
was shifting gears at 5500 rpm.
was chirping gears in 2nd and i almost think it chirped 3rd. must admit the auto programming done by headsex is very good at turning the auto from a slushbox to nice firm shifts.

Great stuff, bet those Gen 3 guys would not have been happy campers, seeing what most would assume is a luxury barge beating them. Obviously a very quick luxury barge.......... :thebirds: :thebirds: :thebirds:
