Italy is certainly a shock. If someone asked you to choose who made more cars, Italy or Iran, well who could honestly say they would have chosen Iran?

In 2006 (when times were somewhat good, Holden and Toyota were exporting to the ME and Mitsubishi was still around) we produced 330,600. Quite a small industry on the scale of things, and the reason why unfortunately we will be eventually forced out on economic principles. But that is a thread for another day.
