Pain in the A Passenger Front Window is not going up
Can't get a new actuator until next week some time Repco have one at the Warehouse but at 10-4pm too late to get it Got the Door Trim off is there a way to force the window up so I can drive Weather forecast is good but we know Melbourne Where is the best place to get one 200+ is OTT for a window actuator Can I get the window permanently up so at least I can drive if so How ??? Please Help |

I know this is an old thread, but....... for future reference, you can cut the winder cable (not any electrics!) to free the window, then prop it up with a piece of wood between the bottom of the glass and the bottom of the door.
I used some scrap wood that I cut to length (really just eyeballing it), then held it in place with a large cable tie between a couple of holes in the door frame. |

Another trick is if you have a battery charger ,is to remove door trim ,locate the electrical loom for the windows switch an see which wires move up then reverse polarity to wind them down us IJSjng just the battery charger to supply the power
An the window wiring loom from the interior switch goes to the window loom to the battery ,
