Question Ford Consul oil filter

Ive just got a 1952 Mk1 Ford Consul ans want to service it first up but they dont have an oil filter as such no Z9s here they have a canister and something that looks like a toilet roll made of corigated cardboard is there some sort of conversion available so I can use a spin on unit also I recall many years back you could get a conversion that allowed you to use a toilet roll anyone remember them any one help thanks John

I had a couple of Zephyrs years ago and believe the filter element could be the same. Ryco should have a listing. Cheers.

Hi. You could also try the Zephyr & Zodiac owners club in melbourne as one of the members there was making an adaptor to take a Z9. Cheers MD
