Default Car's you have seen on GAS you wouldnt have expected.

Just seen a Lancer Coupe approx 2001 or 2002. Same as I traded for Falcon. It's either a 1.5 or 1.8L. Now I know for a fact how economical my 5 speed manual was around the city stop start driving. This car I seen was a driving instructors car so im sure it does heap of kay's. In a small light car like that I would have thought it would have made a huge differance. But I assume he did his math. :eclipsee_

Genuine EL GT, on LPG. Hole punched in drivers side rear quarter for the filler. I left old mate a note telling him he sucks.

Guy I went to Uni with had an old Ford Meteor on LPG. He nicknamed it "Mr Economy."
This was about 7ish years ago when LPG cost bugger all as well.

Would be a pain to refill as you'd have to pull it out of the water and take it down to the nearest servo to refill. With petrol, just dump the jerry can in and away you go again.

Also in Shanghai petrol scooters are now banned and you are only allowed LPG scooters.

He might not have bought it new.

Red book lists them at $52K-$60K (trade) or $61K-$73K (retail)

See: http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au...p?key=ROLL91AB

I nice one here with 59,000km on it for $67.5K

http://www.drive.com.au/used_cars/ro...&pp=1&d=0&nv=1

If I bought a second hand 6.8L Roller, I could see the point in putting in a gas tank.

BA XR8, what a waste.
I've got nothing against gas but a performance car should not be allowed to be put on gas, it's just wrong.
