There is quite a few pubs, cafes and resteraunts on Church St. What is the occassion. Drinking with mates, a date with a lady friend?

City Extra. Half way down Church St. Open 24 hours. Relatively quiet. Most other places can get pretty noisy and crowded in Parra.

i agree with city extra. its a fun atmosphere. cause the menu is a newspaper and stuff.

but really wherever, just walk around til you find a nice place. although last time me and my missus went to church st for a nice meal we ended up eating maccas cause we are both dirt poor :

is she hot? hahahaha good luck.

PJ Gallaghers is awesome pub. On Corner of Church Street and Victoria Road, opposite heardland holden.

Eeasy to get to, good parking, and a top atmosphere!

good idea, theres plenty to pick from, a word of advice and its only ever done me wrong once is find a place that's busy, lets face it if its good it will have regular a regular client base, but you dont want it to noisey becasue you need t oget to know the young lady.

even though I live in Richmond I dont eat out in the Hawksberry with Clients becasue the resaraunts/cafes here lack atmosfear through the week, if I'm enertaining I quite often do the cockel bay wharf strip theres plenty of really good restarunts (not cheap though) I can recoment Nicks seafood and I'm angus and theres a bar close by to meet at first for a few drinks, theres parking right under the strip for arround $20.00 till late, but back to parramatta, I ate at a stake place on Curch street up the northern end pretty much accross the road form the old Myer building, I found that buy looking for a busy place one Wednesday Night it again wasnt cheap but was very good

Let us know who you go

There is a nice newish resteraunt I went to last Saturday night called "Liana's". It is on the corner of Phillip and Church St. Park in Erby Pl. car park ($6) and walk around the corner. Service and food were great - it is Italian so all the pasta dishes were under $20, and then just normal food as well between $20 and $30. Much more intimate than most of the other crowded cafes if that is what you want...

Liana's is good ... have been there before ... but there are a number of places along Church Street to choose from.

There's once place I really like up in Kurmond (for the Hawkesbury people) ... and that's Kurmond Wine Bar and Grill ... the food is pretty damn good and the service is excellent as well. Nice atmosphere as well for a restaurant.

Yeah it's not too bad.

Average priced drinks, decent food plus when you're done you can walk across the road for a trip to the Ford dealership : . Perfect date lol.

You'll do ok if you stick to the church st end of Parra as well. I'd avoid Criniti's tho - way too overpriced and ordinary service.

The wine bars pretty good actuly I can say from experance, I used to like the stock yeard as well the decor was crap but the food and service were excellent, from memory you used to have a prety good Pizza shop in Kurrajong as well (havent been in over 10 years though)

There's a half-decent one in Glossodia ... and Giramondo's in North Richmond is good as well.

Not sure what is Kurrajong though now ... I do know there's a new restaurant that just opened up there not too long ago "Toche" or something along those lines.
