Well played FOA. We have been screaming for something like this for ages. Well done.

I just hope they use the exposure to have the entire range on display.

Car Advice have a story about the display. Excellent work on Fords part. I can't recall such a strong marketing push as this from them before at the show. Well done Ford.

Good idea, just hope people turn up to the show.
Majority of the car makers are not attending.

Comparing that site to the AIMS site there are just as many attending as not - not a majority.

But the attendees do cover 95% of the cars sold YTD in Australia (source some photography site http://www.celsydney.com/wordpress/2...tor-show-2012/ - sounds about right)

Attending (from AIMS site):
AMG
Ford
FPV
Holden
Honda
Hyundai
Infinity
Isuzu
Land Rover
Jaguar
Kia
Lamborghini
VW
Lexus
Maxda
Mercedes Benz
Mitsubishi
Nissan Opel
Peugeot
Porsche
Proton
Skoda
Subaru
Suzuki
Toyota
VW

Not Attending (from The Age):
Alfa Romeo
Aston Martin
Audi
Bentley
BMW
Caterham
Chery
Chrysler
Citroen
Dodge
Ferrari
Fiat
Great Wall
Jeep
Lotus
Mahindra
Maserati
McLaren
Mini
Morgan
Renault
Rolls-Royce
Smart
SsangYong
Tesla
Volvo
EgoFG :-(

(I put myself in the "Not attending" list)

It's good to see Ford actually trying for once and it's about time Ford gave up the quiet, well behaved school boy behavior and done something with balls. Well done Ford. Now just have to drill it home!

Aston Martin have the only one-77 in Australia on display for a few days, and one of only 77 ever made. Worlds most expensive car.

Seems like someone is channelling the late GP, it's just like something he would have done....still love the story of him taking an early build BA XR6T to a meeting of industry heads held at Holden's HQ....some reckon he laid rubber leaving....

Wonder if the floor space is cheaper outdoors, lol...
