My MB Mondeo TDCI was leaking diesel from the leakoff pipe at the base of number one injector. I contacted the local Ford dealer to buy a new O ring, but they will only sell a complete pipe set ($250). After some searching I managed to source some O rings, and five minutes work fixed the problem. I have more O rings on hand, so if anyone else has the same problem, message me and I’ll send you some.

I used 4mm ID x 1.5mm viton O rings. It was a tight fit into the injector, and visually it looked like the originals might be 1.3mm, but it is hard to know as mine was leaking, so perhaps had shrunk over the years. |
