Default New (2024) 5 Series BMW - Styling tips from Ford AU?

Looks like the Germans might have been looking back at the Falcon styling and designs again:

Like how Peter Arcadipane nicked the AU design for the Merc CLS?

I remember reaching some douche bag post (elsewhere) saying that Ford were copying BMW with the DRL headlights on the latest Escape. Lol. Ford did it on the FG-X XR's waaay back in 2014.

Even the Ioniq 6 has an AU profile.

Probably need to update the thread title to Ford Australia.
I can't see any resemblance at all to an AU Falcon

Nope, I don't really see it.
Looks more like BMW evolving their styling over the models. You can see the resemblance between G30 and G60.

Don't see it too much as the BMW has more interrupted, confused lines.

Lovely XE and FGX btw!

Sorry - I saw the photos then saw both cars up close - not a resemblance in my view.
