SA Ezy Reg on Sundays

Gday folks & happy Friday Day! :-/

Prob a stupid question but I'll ask anyways.

If I log on to ezyreg on a sunday and register a vehicle can I then drive that very same day?

It's just that I plan to drive back to my home town to pick up my GT (which has ran out of rego) on Sunday. My paperwork is with it however so I can't register it until I get there on Sunday. I'm just trying to confirm this with people here that may know because I don't want to drive all that way and back again for nothing.
