Default 150k Service time

Hello all, my 03 BA XR6 n/a is due for its 150,000km service. I live in the southern suburbs of Adelaide and was wondering if anyone knows of any good service shops. I have gotten a quote of $340 from Adrian and Brian Ford Dealership. Is that a reasonable price?

Thanks to anyone with advice

-Kyle

If it is reasonable or not depends on what is included in the quote. Sounds a bit much for a 'grease and oil change' but not enough for fluids to be flushed and a set of plugs.

I have used Holdfast Auto Service in Byre Avenue Somerton Park. He is good and reputable & RAA approved. John is his name. May be worth a call. From many past experiences I am not a great fan of Ford service organisations.

Yeah, by 150k usually a car is in quite a unique state and what needs to be changed and what doesn't can't be determined by a log book or by an odo reading. I'd be taking it to a trustworthy independant mechanic and just having done what needs to be done unique to the car.
