Default Links not working?

Really hard to explain what is going on here so I'm going to TRY link to the post to show exactly what's happening:

I just realised as I started typing this the problem is with links - so hopefully that will work!!! If not, the problem is in the "Modified Ford Club South Australia Incorporated" thread, started by White Lightning, in the WA/SA/NT section.

Seems to be changing the links to some weird part of AFF, full of asterisks!!! As you can see from my post there, I originally posted the link to try help out and it was changed to nothing but asterisks.
