heres some pointers for your baby: fix the rust, get the paint looking nice (or get new paint) remove that side strip (pretty much loses the old man look) and keep the roof cover it looks nice

thanx for your input. only just got the esky. it has 51106 original kms and other than the ding in the front passenger side it is quite tidy. will certainly get rid of the side strip and am looking at the option of vinyl paint to rejuve the top. engine about to come out as i have a friend who builds drag motors and he is going to play with it for me. thanx again

am toying with idea of moonlight blue paint colour which is the same as the 95 pajero 4wd models.just like this colour. was going to go yellow with black stripes but there seems to be heaps of escorts that colour already and i want this to stand out and be noticed. this is a project with my 10 yr old son so hoping to have some fun with it.. am going to fit saas or monza seats but will keep woodgrain dash as i think it classy.

yeh looks like good plans you got

hope it turns out as u hope... if u can i would recomend getting it on a hoist or atleast on jackstands so u can have a thorough look at the underneath of it, these old cars sometimes have rust or just really badly worn parts in the most un expectable places
