I like your optimism, but there's no hope that change will flow on to the bowsers here before xmas!

ULP is around 1.7x in the inner east. Diesel was 2.2x some weeks ago but gone under 2 in the last week or so.

Question is, will the normal pre Christmas holidays spike come into play?

It's hovering around 1.7x all over Melbourne

I reckon we're due for the overnight 50c/L jump.

I picked up 98 for 202.9 c/l in Berwick on Monday. Meanwhile, 150km down the road here in Sale, 91 is 199.9 cpl.

Naturally, the prices over xmas will be higher than what they would otherwise be! That's more reliable than the weather being inconsistent

Use sleven app to lock in the price for the week.

Coles is offering 8c off fuel when you spend $30, until end of Dec. Add that to the 4c you get off from apps like AFL and Carsales, thats 12c off a tank.

It's absolutely bonkers in Toowoomba... Most places start at $2.2-odd for e10
With a few select places starting down around $1.79.
It all jumped a couple weeks ago and has been static since.

Not much use to me, unfortunately, T3. I think the nearest sleven to me is 180km away

I don't like using coles. They always seem to be more expensive than other co-located servos. I don't shop there (I shop at woolies, mostly). And my BA XR8 performed horrendously on Vpower, so I moved away from it some years back.

Coles is not even on my radar these days.

Yes. 12c per fill / tank.

Carsales and AFL apps are partnered with Shell, so if you scan the barcode in their app, you get 4c off all the time.

Coles is giving 8c off when you spend over $30. Its been running for a couple of months now and will continue until end of Dec.

So if you piggy them, 8 + 4 = 12c off. Unfortunately you can't piggy back carsales and AFL.

I used to be the same, but their petrol prices are on par with everyone else these days. Mum's Kia Sorento seems to like the shell diesel, gets more kms out of it and has a bit more omph than BP diesel, but the BP diesel seems to burn cleaner and puts less puff out the tail pipe when I floor it :P

Just to clarify for fte, that's 12c/l discount per visit to the servo (assuming you have earnt the credit via a shop at coles)

Some stations have gone up to $2.15 for ULP. The $1.75 are still there but getting fewer by the day.

Merry Christmas everyone!

165 at Doncaster, then coming back to eastern burbs 215, crazy disparity.

Saved me $35 for my fill though.

The Houthis are not doing this off their own bat. They are being used as a proxy by the Iranians. The middle east situation could get much worse any day. I don't fancy electric cars myself but at least they don't use fuel from Middle Eastern fanatics.

French yellow vests started up after raising of further tax on diesel, which most workers use there - and proposed bans of diesels in town areas... C'est le merde...

Filled up again, 165.9 at Launching Place, few kms down the road at Seville $215.9.

Such a crazy disparity down here. Blows my mind that people are filling up at the expensive places as well, literally costing them $30 - $45 a fill extra.

There's a new United on corner of Barry Road/Sydney Rd heading north - has LPG surprisingly.

Was $1.65/L for 91 the last few days since its been open too, not sure if its gone up like everyone else to $2.15/L
