Angel eyes look pretty amazing, jives with the whole 'euro car' thing going on. However, the Audi LED running lights are getting rather overused and tacky...

Technical Contributor: For members who share their technical expertise. - Issue reason: Ford couldn't fix my BlueTooth issue. This member posted a download link, with instruction, on how to do it myself. One week on, the unit hasn't played up once. Three different dealers told me to virtually 'Live with it.

You can do that with a strip of LED under the headlights siliconed on then hook it up. Very cheap and nasty.

The style and quality of the LED DRL's and even the Angel Eyes used on the majority of Euro cars (ie Audi, VW, Mercedes, BMW ...) are IMO far superior than any aftermarket tack-ons available from eBay and the like. In all honesty though if they look that tacky and overused then why is it that nearly every vehicle manufacturer around the globe is fitting them to their cars. This includes Ford, take a look at the new Focus Titanium as an example of this

Well, that statement reinforces the point about it being overused.

The tacky part, well i think it looks great on Audi cars, but on most other cars, it just looks tacky to me. Then again, that's just a personal opinion based on personal taste.

I wasn't having a go at you, I agree with you that on some cars DRL's etc..... just don't belong, but it would appear that that's what the buyers are wanting and whether it suits the car or not the manufacturers will try to comply to get sales
